I want to build a single speed on a budget. I really don't know jack about what parts to buy to put together a complete bike so that is what I am asking help for. I want to keep the bike price under $800 if possible. I've decided for durability that I will go with a 19" Redline MonoCog frame. However, I am clueless on other stuff. It's true I can buy a complete Monocog for around $420. However, I want to start out with higher quality components. The frame is going to run about $150 I think. How would you spend that extra $650 then? If you can give me a complete 'grocery' list so I can take it to the lbs so I can order everything I need that would be great. Remember, this thing only takes 110m bmx hubs.
