Mountain Biking - Getting a new fork, and yes i did read the fork buying guide

does anyone no of any decent shox for around 150-200? Im looking for anywhere between 80-95 mm of travel, and i really dont do any heavy mountain biking.
im mainly a xc rider, but maybe 3-4 times a week ill do some free-riding.
any reccomendations?

The cheapest I found a Shiver SC was over $300.00. Likewise for the Z1, although the wedge is the most affordable Z1.
You're probably still in the $250 + range.
I got talked out of the Shiver due to it's degree of flex with the upside down design in a single crown version. I ended up with a Z1 with a QR-20 thru axle.
Again, over $300 for the fork and that's a 2002 or 03 on closeout. New '04's are about $550.00
