Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - How difficult to take a Trek 7300FX and turn it into a Fixie?

um, tell us about a trek 7300FX, and we'll tell you bout the conversion. in short, it's truly all in the dropouts. horizontal drops are easy, verticals are easy too, now, but far more expensive b/c you need that white industries ENO eccentric hub thingie. (do a search at www.sheldonbrown.com to see one). to be honest, i wouldnt bother fixing the trek 7300FX if it fails to stir your soul or whatever it is that the best bikes do to ya. but, if you're into it, go for it.
