Im gonna need to get a new wheelset for my stinky soon and im not sure which rims to get. Im gonna salvage my Shimano M-475 hubs for the build and I am debating which one of these rims to get: Atomic Trailpimp, Tioga Factory DH, Intense Mag 30, or Mavic EX 823. I want a rim at least 30mm wide, I dont want to go over $90 per rim and weight is somewhat of an issue since the stinky is already heavy, not to mention ive got 2.5 laser DH weirwolf tires and hutchison dh green tubes. Any suggestions are welcome. Also im gonna be doing FR and DH on this bike and I weigh 165lbs. Thanks a lot

I weigh 200lbs and have had very good luck with single tracks. I would stay away from the EX823's. Mag 30's are super strong, but super heavy same with the Trailpimps.

Make sure your hub has the same amount of holes as your rims ;)

Single tracks work great. I have been using them on my race bike for a few years now and also my freeride bikes. As long as they are laced properly they will handle just about anything you ride. They are also the lightest of the group.

Well my hub is a 32 hole and all the rims I am looking at are 32. I think im going to get the mag 30s, they are only 100g heavier than my F219 rather than 300g heavier if I were to go with the trailpimps. I just hope my bikeshop can get me the mag 30s for $65 each like I have found them on Jenson, rather than $90 each like on Cambria
