take a bolt that fits. Screw it in. Take a hammer and bang it. It moves easily down and can't come up. This has worked for me before.

For futre can you please use complete sentences and not AIM style short forms. I can barely read what you wrote. I realize you are young but good english doesn't take that much longer.

ok, is this steer tube long it is 8.7 inches.

Here's a tip to move the star bolt in the steerer tube. Find a deep socket that just fits inside the steerer tube, this will keep the star bolt straight. If you just insert a bolt and hammer it, it may get all cockeyed.

Of course the "RIGHT" way to do it is to buy the Park star bolt setter, or take it to a shop and let them do it!
