Thinking about visiting Costa Rica or Panama in the beginning of very early november to late december this year. Since my Spanish is not so good, travel alone and never been so far from hove i try to figure out what is the best to visit of those to places.

Is it worse or better visiting the one or the other considering weather forecast this time of the year?

Is it more or less english speaking people in one or the other country?

Is it better with accommodation, camping sites, good roads, safety in Panama then Costa Rica?

Anyone, anything..?

Anyway..
Recently found this article where some norwegian journalists was making a reportage about surfing in Costa Rica, transcribed a part of it, out of context..but:

The sweet smell of crack that they smoke, you can smell on each corner. And everything you see in high heels is for sale.
And if you are from some parts of Norway and hate our bad roads, you should visit Costa Rica. It would be balm for your mind. Here they do no have any roads - just three meters wide stripes without jungle. This stripes goes up and down in the jungle and it is a gambling with life to follow them. It would have been nice if only 50% of the drivers was sober. But that is not the only thing, most of them drive trucks, if they dont have collected 3 generations behind something on two wheels with a bull in front.

Anyone confirming this?
