I just purchased some Continental Spike Claw 120's. The 240 version seemed too much for me. I am thinking about studding the center holes about every third hole(2 empty, then a full) with some Nokian studs as they are the same size-per Continental's rep.

My question is- Car tire studs come in different sizes. Do any of these size compare to the bike studs?

Car studs are much bigger than bike studs. I am almost certain they are ALL bigger. I have not actually seen car studs, but judging by the marks they leave on the road, and the sheer grip they would need to stop a car, I think you're out of luck. But go with bike studs!
