this is purely an esthetic thing but the copper rivets on my saddle are too shiny. any way to tarnish them a bit? it's actually a used seat that i bought off ebay but maybe the seller polished them.

Ride, they should wear out... or rub it every night heh... I'd venture to say that unless you were very careful with the gun bluing... it might do ... odd things to the leather?

Chances are that your backside will just re-polish them if you are riding enough!

Get your hands all sweaty (don't want to know how you do it though :) ), then rub the rivets with your fingers. The sweat should gunk 'em up good. Might take a while though. But with a bit more riding under your wheels they'll have a nice patina on them eventually.
