Quick question. I just picked up some new cages that came with washers. Do the washers go between the screws and the cage or between the cage and the frame? Thanks

Washers go between the fasteners and the items being fastened. Put the washers between the heads of the bolts and the cage.

Correct. But for all practicle purposes, you can dispense with them for the cages.

Not if they are plastic!! Although I would generraly frown on plastic, the material is getting better. Just a point learnt from experience. Do not put any form of threadlock any where near plastic. The plastic literrally falls apart if the two come into contact. Use Plumbers tape instead.
