Man winter is just to long I'm actually enjoying these things. Did the Mental Toughness session today and it is just that. The last set was a sprint up interval that just absolutely killed me. This was after oven an hour of riding at around 80% max HR. I have never sweat so much in my life, my wife was actually laughing at me. It really is tough tho and if you have never done these before or not in bike shape leave this one on the shelf and work up to it. Duration is 90 minutes max HR 181 burned 1400kcal. I'm looking to buy a few more and I'm sure you'll see my review here.

I just picked up the Carmichael Training Video called Trainright Mountain Biking. This is my first video to use with my trainer. I'll also give a review on this one when I do it tomorrow.
I just got a Kurt Kinetics Road Machine trainer and have done three workouts on my Trek and... man, am I looking forward to this season! If I can keep this up, I'm going to be in awesome shape. Have never done spinning classes before and even the Spinerval DVD that came with the trainer has been a ball. I can see how these really are going to kick start my training.
I will use the DVD that came with the trainer but want to get some of the other Spinervals. Can those who have them suggest the best to get next?
I'm glad I got a big rubber mat under the bike and trainer as the sweat really pours. Bring it on!

Coach Troy also does virtual bike training DVD's and they are good too, really good. The Lake Placid traing ride is all tempo and I think will be great to jump start me or anyone in the spring. It not only trains you it build your base miles as it takes almost three hours to complete as he covers 56 miles, make sure you have lots of water and I even had to chow down a grainola bar to refuel. The Tuscon ride is all climbing and very tough for just over an hour if I remember right. Now if you wanna sweet do the mental toughness, you will be wiped by this session. I like you can feel myself getting stronger on the bike and can't wait for the spring to get here.
