On May 1st 2009, I will ride in my 3rd consecutive Police Unity Tour. We will start riding in Charleston, SC this year, and over 11 days we will ride to Washington DC, for a total of just over 1,000 miles.
The goal of the Police Unity Tour annual bike ride is to raise awareness and funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington DC. The Memorial receives no government funding, but instead relies on contributions from private donors and the fundraising efforts of the Police Unity Tour.
