General Cycling Discussion - moving?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I may be moving in the future. Anywhere from 2 months to 15. So far Albequerqe and Denver/Colorado Springs are options. Does anyone have information on the bicycling in this area or other ideas of places to move to?

Let me know your specific interest. Lots of great riding in the Denver area - rec, road, mtn bike, etc.

Loads of on road and on trail road biking. This place looks like bike heaven on a sunny weekend. Lots of good LBS's, 100's of miles of well done cement trails that have little cross intersections. (I can go 100 miles right out my back door and cross just a few - maybe 5 - 10) streets.
On roads are filled with bikers, and the driving populace is quite used to driving with bikers.
Mtn bike trails nearby (I.e., Waterton Canyon and many more) and the mountains in Summit County (about 70 miles away) have 27 different biking trails in the high rockies (10.000 - 14,000 feet). Mountain has over 100 miles of paved road bike multi use trails over Vail Pass and others. Challenges you can't believe. See Team Evergreen for the "Triple By Pass" - three high passes and 127 miles or so in one day.
