I'm going to be purchasing a new road bike tomorrow so thought I join a forum to help me gain some knowledge. I'm new to cycling and this whole kind of culture. I'm getting a Lotus International (pics below) Hopefully you guys can all help me with some tips to fix up this bike. I'm getting a steal on this old school piece for $120. Any help or tips or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Can't help you on the bike- you might check the Classic & Vintage forum if it's a few years old. But welcome to the forums. :)
