The current post per page maximum limit is 30 post per page. Can I petition for 40, or even 100? Other boards have it.

Actually, I think it's 25.
What would be really nice is a personalized setting where you can choose how many pages you see per page. I don't know if that's a possibility though.

It's 30. That's the maximum you can set in the personalized setting in the User CP.
