Northern California - Patterson Pass 1/31?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Looks like there is a Starbucks at Vineyard and Isabel. :)
Here's a hint about going into Tracy - don't.*nod*
It doesn't seem an especially friendly place, let alone on a bike.

I'm looking forward to kicking back and playing follow the leader on this ride and letting y'all figure out the best way to get where we're going :)
I think it's just Ron and Donald who were going to meet me in Fremont at 7:45, right? Donald, did you figure out if you're riding or going to Tahoe yet? My cell phone is 916 833 0480 if you need to get hold of me tomorrow morning. I should be reachable any time after 5:30am :twitchy:
I've gotta bail on this ride; have to be back in the City by 5pm. :(
I hope to be back in Fremont by three.

I'll see you guys at 7:45am, Niles/Mission. I still need to figure out what time I need to get back but will ride the morning part out to Dublin for sure.

You're not making it any easier for me, Donald... :p
I really want to go on this ride but can't be late for this family function.
Ron, be sure to take lots o'pics of the windmills for me...maybe something with a Don Quixote theme. :)

FYI, enclosed is a cue sheet you can actually print.

Is anyone driving over from the Peninsula that has room for me and my bike? I can meet you somewhere at your convenience near the Westside of the San Mateo Bridge or Dumbarton Bridge?
Please let me know. Thanks.

I think SilentBen is ... unless he's riding over.

I think SilentBen is riding over. Check post #7 in the following thread.

If no one else can, I could go up 101 instead of 237 to 680 to give you a ride over.

Thanks I really appreciate it. I am excited about doing this ride. I was going to probably do Kings Mtn and then down Tunitas and back up it again. I hear it has been newly paved. But I can do that any time. Tomorrow should be a treat.
P.S. I will be visiting a friend in Oakland after the ride so won't need a ride home.

Yes I will be riding to the start. It'll be cold and dark out for the first hour and a half of my ride and so I'm bringing my headlight and some extra layers. Hopefully I am able to leave some of that stuff in someone's car at the bart station during the main body of the ride :)

Dang, still at the house, so I'm just going to meet everybody at the normal start, at Pleasanton Bart. No way I will be able to make it to Fremont by 7:45 am.
