Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have a 1990 Bianchi Alfana 55cm in celeste green. All 105 (DT shifters) Tange Prestige lugged frame. Still glossy and spotless. Wondering what it might be worth. Ridden very little and has newer tires.
Also a 1986 Raleigh Marathon sport touring bike. Mostly original, mid-grade Shimano, triple butted lugged cro-mo with Nitto Moustache handlebars. 1.25" newer tri-sport tires.
Any ideas anyone?

If you have pics, please post them. Without seeing pics and depending on condition, the Raleigh should sell somewhere between $100 to $150, and if it's nice, I'd lean toward the $150 side. You can ask for more, but getting more is going to be tough because it's friction shifters.
I'm not sure about the Bianchi so I'll let others comment.
I would estimate the Bianchi at $225, maybe a tad more since it is super clean and "Celeste". You are basically up against the limit of what a Shimano 105 DT shifter bike can bring.
I have two 105DT bikes myself to sell, a Miyata 712 and a Schwinn Tempo (neither quite ready to market, but close). So I hope you can get more!
In the market around here, there seems to be a cap at or around $200. People readily buy bikes below this figure. Not much activity above this mark. Your market could be better. Roccobike knows the market well.
I would watch C/L in your area for a while for similar 105 bikes, then add a "Celeste" premium.

Thanks Bill. Yes the Celeste is beautiful. It's really just a vintage race bike, and I do not have any plans to race (at least not for real). I have an old Panasonic DX-4000 (Suntour cyclone mII) that would do for my purposes, and has the braise-ons to make it a tad more practical. I'd be sad to sell the alfana, and let go of all my illusions of old-time racing grandeur) but need some cash (I know, who doesn't), but thanks a lot for your input!
