I'm trying to get a hold of some black doubles anyone i contact says they are out that they're waiting on toshi?
I thought i heard something along the lines of toshi only producing at certain times- or in bulk, but i could be making that up...

Figured the bfssfg would know but maybe i'm wrong to begin with...

I know some people I buy from I Japan have plenty in stock but for some reason the US supply is all on backorder. Ebay has some too.

No Brakes is a pretty well known fixed gear bike shop out of atlanta, that's who they are.

No brakes is a reputable shop, but that's gotta be the dumbest name ever.

why ? it's a track parts boutique...and track bikes have no brakes....

that's like naming my car boutique shop.... "4 wheels"...

I'd name my bike shop "velvet elvis" or "stay gold".

"no brakes" for a bike shop is like naming a car shop "fake carbon fiber shift knob I got from pep boys".

I wanna open a car shop called "spoilers made out of chunks of particle board and old hockey sticks".

I saw those, was looking for new straps and just can't bring myself to pay 150 from aus when i know if i wait they'll be around 80. I sent a message to my friend in tokyo and he said he thought they were low over there too... maybe he didn't look very hard hah.

I would suggest looking past the Hipster appeal of Toshi's and consider the MKS doubles, most people only read about Toshi's which are in fact a great strap but IMO the MKS have a slightly better buckle (due to a better design on the hinge pin) and the leather and lamination is just as good and top notch! I have ridden mine into the ground in rain, snow, sun, dirt, you name it, and they are just as good as the day I bought them, no de-lam and no stretch. And I didn't use any buttons so they were just as likely to d-lam on the tips. Also I actual use the straps as intended loosening and tightening everytime I use them so they are truely tested. Just my 2c. Look past the allure of Toshi's and consider the MKS's.

Alright so this thread can probably die- got a notification from bens today that they got their shipment(although they already sold out apparently)... i may end up considering the mks'

Oh i wanted the toshi's because i've used them first hand- not hipster appeal, as strong as that can be i suppose.

chase.

the kashimax doubles are also pretty nice, although i don't think they're worth the extra cost they retail for at most places.
