well i went to china camp in marin to ride and saw that specialized has a booth setup ... talked to em and they were lettin people test ride epics and stumpjumpers for free! So i got an xl epic (im 6' 6") and did the loop with it

Pros:

Bike climbs great
Lightweight

Cons:
Suspension travel is minimal
That brain nonsense dont work
its top heavy so it corners like ****
these gay shifters that double as brake levers ... you hit the front brake too hard and the **** downshifts

Overall i think its a good bike for cross country and racing, but i like my klein better lol. The bike REALLY does climb well though thats one of the main things it has going for it.

I need to ride a blur ... im in the market for a new bike right now cause the pivot on my klein keeps breaking and its getting old.

ahh china camp....i used to ride that trail 3-4 times a week after work before i moved down to san diego. i personally like the fox brain technology it's the same stuff as my fox fx100 which i love. i agree with the shifters/brake lever combo tried it once and will never try it again
btw since you mentioned a blur

I must say i have been ridding the new shimano xtr shifters for a little over a year and i will never go back!

like most things they just take getting used to. I took off the little upshift levers aswell and just shift from the brake

I have NEVER shifted accidently while braking
