I just happed to be looking around on Craigslist yesterday and came across a set of Juicy3s for 20.00 bucks. They came on a Titus that this guy bought and he upgraded the brakes after a few rides.Welllllllll.....I was the fist to contact the guy selling them and I got first dibs. I almost feel bad about the price..........almost.:roflmao2:

Seller feels bad 'cause he bled 'em and replaced the fluid with kerosene to save weight. Didn't work.
JK - - good find!

Nice score! No adjustable banjo at the caliper/no popping out lever thingy. Otherwise I can't feel the difference between them and the three other sets of Juicy 5's in our fleet.
They get the job done.
You're gonna hate 'em...mechs are far superior in every way. Hydro's are so much of a hassle.
I'm jealous dude! Those are pimp....love the black;)

"our fleet" ???
Don't worry about the lack of banjo adjustment. My Avid's don't even have a hillbilly banjo...'cause they shred like an electric guitar!!!

Yeah. My wife's commuter/townie/mtb, and both my mtbs have Juicy 5's. My SS has 3's. My commuter/crosser has an Avid road lever pull mechanical on the front as well. :thumb:
The banjo adjustment is no deal breaker at all, it's just nice. Especially if you've got some funky routing at the ends - lets you adjust things to have smoother lines aesthetically, and to have less of a loop hanging at the caliper end waiting to get snagged or something.
