Walking out to the garage this morning, I thought to myself, "Wow, it's pretty warm out today. I almost don't need my gloves."

Checked the thermometer on the front of the garage: 10F!

Well, it was warm compared to Monday's -10F ride... :D
(that ride was absolutely beautiful, btw)

Doesn't talk long to get used to the cold, does it?

No, it doesn't take long. That's why I keep saying that if people want to cycle all year round, they should spend as much time outside as they can, and get used to it.

This year, I couldn't beleive how warm 35 felt after the twenties. You are kicking out several times the Calories as you would do sitting still, so your body is quickly able to mobilise this extra burn, especially if you acclimatise by wearing shorts on 40-45 degree mornings, as long as you have something to keep the air in on top.
