Hope to see you all out there some day!

So far, me like it!

It's last year's frame - paint only different for '09 (and a few more bucks than 08), Rival, Easton EA90 SL wheels, cheap carbon Look-alike pedals, Deda Logo stem, Deda "Big Piega" bars, Selle San Marco saddle.

Thanks to RA Cycle (they still have 08 frames, at discount) and GVH, total rolling $$ < 09 factory build off the showroom floor. I had pedals, tires, tubes and saddle stashed already - even so, I wanted an upgrade in the wheels, would rather have Rival than Ultegra, and $till came out "ahead," all I had t' do was put it together, which was fun!

Governor Arnold maybe would frown that CA sales tax on the cassette only, the pie plate eleven twenty-eight I bought in state.

Tom, at GVH, was just great! Thanks for the excellent service. I don't think many folks could beat your price, nor your service.

Al, at RA Cycle in Brooklyn, NY, thanks to you as well!

The dealer I found who did have the pie plate cassette in stock can go to hell; oh well.

The big difference is fit - longer effective toptube than my 83 Myata 310. Next, the snap, then the modern components. It rides smoother, corners better. I still havta pedal, but thas' o.k.

That's okay, you can just put the price of all the stuff you bought online and didn't pay tax for in the proper line on your state income tax now.

Nice looking bike - I'm thinking that red or black tires would set it off really well (although you'd need black bar tape too).

I don't think of an 11-28 as a pie-plate, more like a sensible precaution when you live round here.
