Doin the full NJS/Keirin thing? Dig the frame...it's like Xmas in steel form.
Is this for the track or NY street? Street - go with MA3s, durable as all hell. Had mine for 3yrs now on Chicago blacktop, only trued once and that was after me shaking hands with a Porshce.
NJS stylie - no clue on the rim recommendation.
Cheers
fixed the link fer ya. Nice bike.

Maybe the person who painted the frame originally had a nautical theme in mind. Willy, our sailor in residence, will attest to the old saw "Red Right Returning", which has the lights on the ship on the Port (right hand side) red, and the on the left hand side, (Starboard) Green. that is the extent of comment on the paint job that I can come up with, other than to say it is elegant, whatever the reason.

I think you'll find port is on the left, starboard is right. I think :)

well, i'm putting more or less the same parts spec on my bike, with the exceptions being i have a suntour bb, headset and pedals, and i'm going with a couple of nos semi-aero hard anodized rims: a sun m14a in back, and an araya adx-1 in front. they kinda look like these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=36144&item=3673276345&rd=1 only clinchers.

Are you facing forward, or aft when you say that?
so the bike IS red on one side and green on the other...I asked about it when it was originally posted on oldskooltrack...that's cool! I've never sen that kind of paint job before, but I have seen a georama...it was at a swap in the bay area a while back...not much more info than that I'm afraid.

PM Tomity from the boards here. He's a Japanese Keirin racer - he should be able to shed more light on it for you (not sure if you already tried this). I couldn't find squat

Hi erin nicole
I'm Japanese Keirin rider Tomity
I asked a member of Bike Forum (165) about your GEORAMA's question
Former Keirin rider of Koki Makita produces GEORAMA now
Former Keirin rider of Seiichi Muramatsu produced before 2004, but sold a factory to Koki Makita last year
Koki Makita and Seiichi Muramatsu were rider of Shizuoka pref.
Koki Makita is age 30's currently, and Seiichi Muramatsu is 50's
A representative image color of GEORAMA is green and red
GEORAMA has the history for about 20 years
It is the information that the above knows about GEORAMA
Have a nice riding to you!!

Haha thats awesome! I love that she put out the coloring book too.
