BMX - Which is the better bike out of these two..

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I have it down to two bikes I'm looking at...
Which is better?
DK Cincinnati
Or
DK Eight-Pack?
That is for you to decide. Ride everything you can and decide from there.

I figured I'd get an answer like that, lol. We dont have a good bike selection around here tho.
I mean... quality of bike, because a lot of people know a good amount on here, so I wanted their opinions.
IMHO the Eight Pack is the better bike. The Cincinati is a Hi Ten frame and the Eight Pack is a Cro-Mo main frame. So basically the Eight Pack is a stronger frame that will hold up and last longer.

Thanks, I appreciate it.
If they don't have the bike here at a local place, I'm probably just going to order it online;)

Call Empire Bikes in Austin, Texas, they are the leaders in BMX. Their website is www.empirebmx.com. They will know what is good and what is not good...if you are looking to do some serious dirt or street riding, I would look to S&M or Standard, their frames can take a beating.

i would say go with the cincinnati since the downtube is chromoly and it comes with a tubular 3 piece crank

Why exactly is that. What experience do you have personally with these bike that you can make that educated statement? I'm assuming you have a perfectly good reason for your judgement of these bike. What specific problem will he have, that you had, if he buys either of these.
Oh.

Ok, DicK man, can you stop bumping old and worthless threads from last year? We get it - you're new and you think DK is the greatest. Now shut up.
