I was wanting to start a weight training programme designed to help strengthen my legs over the winter period. Does anyone have any ideas/suggestions?

I would focus on basic compound exercises for strength such as squats,romanian deadlifts and standing calf raises for the legs doing relatively heavy weights in the 3-6 reps/set range.But I would also include this as part of a full body stength program.
