Have:
2001 Cannondale XR800 Cyclocross bike
- 56cm but fits like a 57-58 (cross bike are weird like that. They fit bigger.)
- Great condition with less than 300 miles on it.
- Beefy as sh*t. Great for city of off road abuse. None of that carbon fork jive :-)
- MSRP was $1,500+ back then
- Fresh Specialized "All Condition" 28c tires
- Fresh grip (hasn't been sweated on since I applied it)
- It's a great bike. I just don't ride it.
- Located in Atlanta. I'm willing to drive a few hours to meet and swap in person.
- I'm keeping the TIME pedals

Want:
- Complete track bike (no beater bikes, no conversions)
- Really nice track wheels
- Really nice track frame (57-58cm)
- OEM Bike rack for Mark IV VW Golf/Jetta

Specs: http://www.cannondale.com/bikes/01/cusa/model-1XR8.html

depending on what is going on in my engine (still tbd) i might be selling my GTi, in which case i would be selling my rack... would you be willing to do a shipping trade?

Yeah, I'd consider that.

BTW, what accessories/clamps do you have with the rack?

my rack isn't an OEM. it's a thule rack with one yakima steelhead bike rack. since their components are interchangeable, i got the thule rack because the mounts hold more weight, and the yak steelhead because they are better on their bike clamp designs

Hahaha! I asked for OEM so I figured that's what you had. I'm not interested in a thule/yakima combo.

Thanks, man.

suit yourself, i don't trust OEM ****, let VW make cars and thule/yak make racks.

Hahaha. I'm a nut for OEM. Gotta have the R32 all matched up!

I have an OEM rack from a Mark II Jetta Coupe. Are they the same?

I don't think they are the same.

I wasn't sure. Mine uses Thule bars so I have a bunch of attachments for bike and snow. They have been sitting in the garage for the better part of 6 years so I wouldn't miss them much. If anyone has a Mark II hit me up if you are interested.
