My opinion on them is this: If you want to be wired constantly, lose weight in the most unhealty way possible, and not sleep, add to that be hungry all the time and not learn proper nutrition, then go for it!! I tried those for a week, and hated them.

They make you feel way too gittery and they just aren't healthy for you to begin with. Don't do it!

These types of pills usually involve some type of CNS (central nervous system) stimulant, previously ephedra, now usually synephrine. This is often "stacked" with caffeine and/or aspirin. For cyclists who routinely raise their heart rates to 140 or 150 bpm (or higher) for long periods of time, this type of stimulation makes no sense whatsoever. If bodyfat loss is a major goal, it's best to go long and slow in your cycling and gradually reduce caloric intake.

Welp. I have tried a few of "those" types of pills. All they did for me was make me nervous, hot, wired, and then I would crash and burn. Not to mention they made me irritatble. Its just an "easy" way out of a weight problem I guess. I learned the hard way (TRUST ME) that is better to loose slowly from a good low fat diet and lots of cycling, then any diet pill any day.

I think in the future, when all the people who were taking diet pills in the past (or Adderall or Ritalin, amphetamine really) get older and have heart problems and central nervous system problems it's not going to be a big surprise. I've got a perscription for Adderal, the generic of it just says "amphetamine". It's unhealthy for you, believe me. They haven't done any long term tests on Adderall, and they certainly haven't even looked at those herbs and diet pills. When it says on the bottle "This statement hasn't been evaluated by the FDA" that means it hasn't been tested. Don't touch that stuff. Peace.
