does anyone have any info about this bike. how much would it sale for, who made it and how good of a bike is it

It's an old German brand. Looks like the fork is bent on yours.

Not sure if it is the same company or not but there was a German bike company called Bismarck.

Nah, the forks not bent....it's a chopper. (I think your right)

Had to weigh an absolute ton with that motor hanging up front like that. And can you imagine trying to steer this thing. I also wonder how long the spokes on that front wheel with that torque they had to endure from that drivering.

It is not worth a thing until you have the fork looked at to see if it is structurally damaged beyond use (bent steerer tube/cracks in the braze) or not. I am always very skeptical of a fork bent forward - such bends are sometimes a sign of a potential fork failure.

However, if the fork is intact, a good shop should be able to cold-set the steel fork blades back into place. Until then, the machine's only value is to an individual who can do these repairs themselves. As this brand is more of an oddity in the U.S. rather the a known brand, you'll most likely be approached by resale flippers who would rather buy it off of you cheap.

Take care of that fork first. After you have done so, and have cleaned and tuned the bike up (and preferably removed that "MOE" on the top tube) into ridable condition, I would estimate $150-200 in an active Craigslist college city market.

Neat bike, not sure you will find a buyer in a smaller area. If you lived in NYC or San Fran, you could probably do pretty well on it.

The fork is bent. If you were to take a perfect 90 degree shot of the folk on your example and compare it with this machine, it will be quite apparent that your fork blades and crown are canted at a shallower angle then the headtube. Additionally, you might note that your top tube is sloping downwards instead of sitting parallel - that's another cue that your fork is bent forward.

Granted, all roadsters have considerable fork rake (search the forums for my '79 Rudge for a good example), but it does not eliminate the fact that this particular example has sustained damage of one kind or another.

Hi, I am new to this site and have been involved with antiques and unusual items for years. I am 56 yrs old and have been involved with old stuff since i was in first grade. I have just been told not to use capital letters because it is distracting. Your fork is not bent and i wish you were in new jersey because i would give you 200.00 in a heart beat for that bike as long as it ran. I believe i entered the wrong site. Anyone who wears spandex and has a wedge of a bike seat up their rear end and endures this for long periods of time should move to fire island. I hope i did not use too many capital letters.
