Was wondering if anybody has ever had any trouble with compatibility between the topeak baby seats and other mtx stuff. I want to buy a baby seat and rack, but have a exp model trunk bag that someone gave me. Will the trunk bag work on the rack for the baby seat. I have read on other sites where this is sometimes a problem, but was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience. I commute and to get a rack that will work for both applications. Thanks.

I've used a Babysitter rack with a trunk bag before without any problems, but it wasn't a Topeak bag. If your bag has velcro straps, it should work.

Topeak recently revamped their baby seats (http://www.topeak.com/products/Child-Carrier). IIRC, the 2008 models did NOT have the MTX designation (http://www.topeak.com/products/Child-Carrier/babyseat_rack) on them. Now, Topeak claimes specific compatibility.

PS - I don't own one, I just looked at LOT's of options before we settled on a Burley Tiger trailer.
