Road Cycling - Please help me w/ jersey size. 5'10 170

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Alright, been around to the different shops in town, none of which carry anything that I would be interested in - including brands. Im looking at Castelli and maybe Izumi - higher end. Im 5'10 170 and would like a jersey that is almost a form fit (snug) but just a pinch off that, giving me just a touch of room. Can anyone advise on these two brands or others, Decente, etc.. that would be in that size range. I thought medium, but now Im not sure I need a large? Jerseys are tough to fit, if trying on is not an option! Thanks

Sounds like you'd wear a euro 4 (L)
I'm also 5'10" 170lb and 4's fit me well.

I'm 5'8" and 170 lbs and a euro medium is tight on me so I prefer a euro large (4). Don't put your jersey in the dryer or it'll shrink. Let them air dry.

They go by chest size and vary quite a bit from one brand to another - you should check out the size charts on line. I'm 5'9" and 163 w/ 42" chest - wear large Castelli, large Descente and EXTRA large in Giordana and Assos. Go figure

I'm 5'11" and 173 lbs. I lift weights, so there may be a difference. In a Euro jersey I take a 5, which is snug. Some brands a 6.
PI and Cannondale I'd be L.
