Well i suppose it's a good thing to be a shimano fanboy, Think about where cycling would be without them.

That Dura-Ace seatpost is sweet. Used to have one. Lighter than a bunch of carbon posts out there, and of course, NJS. ;)

but those easton made da posts have had terrible reviews over ther years about the clamps breaking and them not living up to "njs" certification/quality.
i think that seatpost is one of the parts that i would never buy, just based on the reviews that i read while contemplating completing my 7600 gruppo.

ur link didn't work, but i'm assuming u are talking about the zen-esque dura ace chainring. i dont think they even have a model name/number, but i've seen pictures of them being used in the olympics and world championships. a friend of mine locally has one on his 650c havnoonian and it's pretty nice. but i cannot justfiy spending $140+ on a chainring.

not living up to "njs" certification/quality.
Remember, being stamped NJS just means you can race it around a track in japan. It doesn't mean anything about quality. Think about it like real champagne, it was most certainly grown and bottled in France, but that alone doesn't mean it's going to taste like stars.
