Seem I've rounded out the hex bolt on one of my ATAC cleat bolts. Anyone got any idea how to get it out again?

I won't be so ignorant as to just tell you to search :P

Several options. You can use a dremel with a cutoff wheel to cut a slot in the top and use a screwdriver. Or if they're countersunk bolts, you can drill out the top of it, the head should pop off, which will allow you to remove the cleat then use pliers to remove the rest of the bolt. Use a drill bit just a touch larger than the diameter of the threaded portion of the bolt.

You left off the easiest one - try a brand new allen wrench. That'll work more often than you'd think. Then throw your old, worn allen wrench away because it's only going to round out more screws.

I'm assuming that when the OP said it was rounded out, it was rounded out :)

I am too.

The new allen wrench trick won't work all the time but it's cheap and easy and it works enough of the time that it's always my first shot. Makes it less tempting to keep using the old rounded allen wrenches that are the source of the problem too.
