Went to KC today to hang with some friends. They have a Sk8 park/ bike park (concrete) by their house. I took the Komodo there and had some fun. I was only there for 20 min, but it was flippin' schweet! I didn't get to do much 'cause it was soooo busy. I almost ran over 3 kids in 30 sec. (I was the one being careful) Just too congested.

I may have to build me a twinny-Fo!

I've done the run over a teen thing at a skatepark. Tasted like chicken. :p

Just kidding with the Tasted like chicken.

I was riding a line at Rye Airfield up in NH on a bike night and plowed into a skateboarder who went literally right in front of me.

It's in Olathe...like 130'sumpt'n and RidgeView.

As far as Sk8 parks go...it ain't "all that", but it's a block away from my friend's house, so I had a good time.

We have a very skate parks down here, but bikers are not welcomed to them. You get skate borders trying to push you off the stunts in the park, it's really ennoying. But, if you get there on a day where it looks like its going to ran, they all run off and you have the park to yourself.

the common conception of skaters is that bikers (as well as bladers) hog the park.

luckily the biggest skate park in my area is outdoors and in derelict condition. the transitions from the ground to ramp is way too haggard for skaters to attempt riding over. thus it has become a haven for bikers. and with the popularity of video games the place is empty all the time. several years ago it was dangerously over crowded.

I'm too old to get kicked out of a sk8 park by kids. They all look at me...shaking their heads...some point and laugh...but mostly they feel sorry for the old people riding their bikes and leave us alone. (It helps that I used to shred the street on a fatty Santa Cruz...gives me somthing to talk about)
