Todays, 26 April, Los Angeles Times Kids section has the first of five in a series on Lance Armstrong. You can see the first of this series by clicking on:
http://www.latimes.com/features/kids/readingroom/la-et-story26apr26,0,562647.story?coll=la-living-kids_reading_room
I think it is a good thing since it promotes bicycling among Children.

If you missed the first one it is at:
http://www.latimes.com/features/kids/readingroom/la-et-story26apr26,0,562647.story?coll=la-living-kids_reading_room

Part II is at:

http://www.latimes.com/features/kids/readingroom/la-et-story27apr27,0,1021401.story?coll=la-living-kids_reading_room

Or if you want to follow it daily on your own go to:

http://www.latimes.com/features/kids/readingroom

and then click on the:
'Meet Lance Armstrong'
flag.
I think this series in a major metrapolitan news paper is a very effective way of promoting bicycling among young people.

Sorta reads like a condensed version of "It's Not About The Bike" ....IMHO.

True, but it looks like this article is geared more towards kids. And maybe if they read this, they'll be more inclined to pick up the book and get interested in cycling. It's all good.

Yall oughta go read his books. I've read "Every Second Counts" and "It's not about the Bike". They are really good, informative reads. Easy to read, too. I read "Every Second Counts" in less than two days.
