hey everyone this is my first thread/post can anyone help me out?

I have a 2008 Schwinn road bike 14 speed i really need to upgrade the shifters on it they are SIS index shifters which in my opinion are a massive pain and i would like to upgrade my shifters to something like a cheap version of STI Shimano shifters.
But because it is a 14speed the possibility that someone would have shifters for my bike is rare.
so would anyone have a set of shifters for a bike with 8 or 7 gears on the cassette or freewheel.

I don't care about the condition as long as it works and i don't really care what brand or how old it is either as long as its under $50 so if anyone has a spare set of used road bike shifters sitting around please let me know

I have a malvern star capo pro and it has the exact same shifter as you have shown and to get them you just have to call into a bicycle recycle centre, but i think your chance of getting a pair for under $50 is slim. or maby you could contact malvern star directly and ask them where they get there supplyer parts... I hope that was a help to u.
