Mr. Beanz ! I always enjoy your posts and the pics that go with most. You folks on the left coast have it made. I wish my winter riding looked like that. I was only able to get out on the road 4 times in January. Our town has recorded 65 inches on snow in January alone, and finding roads with any room to ride is tough. Thanks for the pics, I can only dream of whats to be.

I was going to ask where the photo of the food was, but then realized all of us probably didn't need the added temptation of seeing it :p

Glad I'm here!:D......I can't imagine what you guys go thru to ride the bike!...Although I think it would be fun riding an mtb in the snow with studded tires. But! No rocks underneath!:p

Gonna tell you anyway!:D....We started in a city at the base of the mtns, a city named Duarte. Then ride down to Seal Beach which is next to Long Beach and the Queen Mary. Ever get out this way let's do it!:D

Nice pics Beanz... thanks. Looks like a fall or bailout to the "river" side of the MUP would be ill-advised in some cases! I'm curious about your MUPs. How are the "amenities" (shade, water, pottys, bushes :D ) generally?

Wha...! I don't merit an invite anymore?!?
It was a beautiful day for riding. Unfortunately, I couldn't have ridden anyway: I was stuck inside all day working on one of my teacher's certifications... :twitchy:

This isn't the trail Gina and I frequent. This one is a little more isolatd crom civilzation, IMO. It gets much hotter than the other trail. Although there are a couple of nice parks it's still tough to ration water as the parks are only a couple of miles apart. Not much shade ontheis trail. Along with some scary tunnels and underpasses, this isn't my trail of choice!:p
The trail we frequent has plenty of shade and parks in very convenient locations, equal distances allowing for refills at any time. Much more shade and smoother pavement. Plus the underpasses are short and wide, not many blind spots!:D
Sorry Mkadam, it was organized by two nonforumites. I didn't want to post a thread or invite others without permission. On the ride I was asked why I didn't invite the others!

I like the word I have read for the first time -- "nonforumites".
