Will this forum ever be optimized for mobile use? Bank of America has done it, Flickr has done it. Why cant BF do it?

because there's no lost revenue if they don't do it.

BofA & Flickr are not forums.

It could probably be done, but is most likely low on their list of things to do. It could be as simple as an additional template, but it may affect how their advertising is threaded.

Are you familiar with RSS? There are ways to access the forum content without needing to use a web browser. There are dozens of ways to organize the content you want on your iphone.

Fairly obvious.
My point was that it's fairly easy to optimize a relatively static page for a specific browser.

I just did a search on the vBulletin support forums, and it appears that there currently isn't an iPhone plugin or template available from vBulletin. There is at least one template available from a 3rd party vendor.

It could be an expense issue, or it could be a coding issue.

Help me out here. I'm not too savy with some computer stuff. Is vBulletin the company that supports this forum?

P.S. monogodo, sorry if I sounded a bit snippy in the earlier post.

FWIW, I view the forum with my iphone all the time. And post from it as well. What is the issue exactly? I noticed the top menu wraps a little weird but all the links are usable and the actual threads display fine to me.

vBulletin is the name of the software that forum is run on. Kinda like you'd use Excel to produce a spreadsheet or InDesign to do page layout, or Lotus Notes to check email.

I do the same sometimes. I was just thinking there would be a simple way to make it faster as its a little slow.
