Tried my toughest ride to day, ~40 miles with about 2500 feet of climbing. Nothing much over 8% grade so I could keep my heart rate down to something reasonable. Temps started at 50 deg. at 1000 and were probably 65 deg when I finished just before 1300. Think I've got a good shot at finishing the Tierra Bella 100K in April. But I must say I'm a bit fatigued.
I really like the pictures everyone posts, but the terrain around here is old, rolling hills. I did bring my camera, but the roads are in either fault lines or arroyos or similar terrain. Can't really get to truly scenic vistas on a road bike. I'll entertain requests for bovine or green hill photography. The photographs from SoCal, NorCal and Florida do tend to rub it in a bit.

Dude, just take some pictures so we can see where you ride. California is burnt to a crisp and about ready to fall into the ocean but I still take pics. Pics man, pics!

Ok, ok, pictures you will have. We've gotten enough rain to start turning the hills green and the cows are looking well fed, but at this rate the ranchers will have to pull them off the hills early this year. At least I took the first step and brought my camera:).

Where are you at? If the landscape is ugly enough, then show how ugly it is. If it's boring, put your bike in it. Use a self-timer and put yourself into it. Remember, be fast. If you can't BE fast, then LOOK fast. If you can't look fast, then look colorful. :)

And if THAT fails, hire some nude models. Works every time.

Got it. I can see the post title now: "pics of nude models". Next country ride there will be pictures for sure. I also have to figure out how to work the self-timer.
