Seriously though, I don't enjoy Bruce's performances, he's all melodramatic like what he's saying is just freakin' amazing. But it would be wrong to deny that he is one of the great song writers of his generation.

Springsteen hasn't put out a good recording since 1984, and even then it was considered pop sellout. His artistic best was Born To Run. I knew his singing has declined of late and didn't want to see that, so I rode my bike for the first half, showered during halftime, then for the second half I drove to my favorite Italian joint to eat a good meal and drink some suds. The girl who runs the place is a former glamour model (she's hot), and loves the NFL. It was a fantastic day.

I didn't think it was that bad. Granted, I was drunk and fighting off a BBQ coma at that point. I still think they should bring Prince back every year.
