Mr. McGee shows his face in the prologue.
And how old is Zulle now?

Zulle must be atleast 45.
Bradley Mcgee... my memory has failed me... isn't he a 'pure' sprinter?

McGee's a trackie. Won the prologue in last year's Tour. And will win it again, I'll bet.
I just want to see Danielson ride well enough to get himself a spot on Fassa B's Giro squad.
Without the crash Zülle would probably have been 3rd. He's 36 btw..

i was looking at mcgee's website. says his max rpm is 225! that's really flying. my max is somewhere slighly north of 180 (that's for a brief moment while flying down short, very steep hill). 225 is nuts. good for him.
does he do well in road races? more generally, do track guys convert to the road well? i know marty northstein does some road stuff now. any other examples, post-merckx.

Garzelli is having a fantastic run up to the Giro. I think Simoni isn't going to walk away with a 7+minute victory this year. If he wins at all. Tyler is still up there. When do the real mountains start? McGee is still in the lead after some cat2 and cat3 climbs but I imagine once the road really turns up someone else will be in yellow.

Today :).

Currently 25km to go. I guess Garzelli is going to try something today, and Phonak will probably have someone up there as well.

looks like Tyler and Phonak are going to be pretty dominant if they race tomorrow like they did today... and with the TT coming up, it sounds like it's resting in tyler's hands right now.
seems to be a good indication that those who doubted that phonak could support tyler in the tour de france are wrong. at this point, it looks like he and lance are gonna kick some german butt... guess it's still early, though.
Hah...I just found out my boss is helping announce the race

I read some stuff on csc's website saying tyler was pretty strong and should be the winner barring anything major happening. Looks like he has it all setup because he is quite the TT'er unless he tries to give the win to a team mate but I think the race is still fairly close so hamilton will probably go full bore for the win. I wish there was coverage of this race. Sounds like the first stage race with real mountains.

Brad McGee is a 4000m pursuiter; he was World Champion in 2002. I don't think he's much of a sprinter
Hamilton takes the leader's jersey, after Stage 4! Woop! With only a TT left, he looks poised to win at Romandie for the second year in a row. I don't think there's anyone on the GC, within a minute of his time, who could beat him in a 20km time trial. Am I wrong?
Atta boy, Tyler! Go git 'em!
GC After Stage 4
1 Tyler Hamilton (USA) Phonak Hearing Systems 15.19.15
2 Leonardo Piepoli (Ita) Saunier Duval-Prodir 0.19
3 Fabian Jeker (Swi) Saunier Duval-Prodir 0.30
4 Tadej Valjavec (Slo) Phonak Hearing Systems 0.51
5 Dario Cioni (Ita) Fassa Bortolo 0.59
Tyler wins. Yay! :) http://www.velonews.com/race/int/articles/5997.0.html

Yeah these little one hour recap things are pretty weak... better than nothing I suppose... At least we get the whole tour (buying a thing that essentially turns my mac into a tivo so I can record the whole thing, and put it on dvds..)
You would think we would be able to get more cycling on OLN... seeing as all they really do is play the same stuff over and over.
We want more OLN!!!!!! I bet if Lance calls it quits after this year, OLN will drop cycling coverage.. :(
