Ok so swelling in knee after hurting my knee, makes sense. What's up with swelling if the calf and ankle 3 days after the knee injury? Us it just me walking in a fd up way?

It comes from poor typing skills... :innocent:
I dunno but that sounds like it sucks. You went to the doc already, if I remember right. Maybe he missed something?

Wat!!! It doesn't hurt but it looks bad. My gp told me to get an MRI. Gotta wait a week for it tho.

^^^What x said. The injury is probably messing with your circulation.

Sounds like all the stuff causing the swelling is dripping down your leg and pooling down there.
Okay, I'm sure there's a more science-y and less gross way to phrase that.
Hope it's nothing-masquerading-as-something, man.
Yeah hope so too. Came cross thing called DVT. Crazy stuff.

Thing is the knee swelling has gone down significantly. enough that it almost looks normal.

Does the swelling outside of the injured area hurt? I think DVT is generally painful.
(Of course, I'm neither a doctor nor an actor who plays one. I'd say call an advice nurse if you're worried or it doesn't go away.)
Yes, but you could be a guy that plays an actor that plays a doctor.

Advice nurses tell you to call 911 for a runny nose.

Ah, but I can't act. And I'm not Shatneresque enough to get away with it.
You can't fool me. You're really the guy that acts like he can't act like that guy that acts like an actor that plays a doctor.
By any chance the MRI is for the lower back?
*points at the Sciatica support group* Boys! We might have a new one! Pass over the drugs!

Nah the knee.
X might be on to something. It's as if the fluid from the knee drained down to the ankle.
Maybe it is just "your time" and you are retaining water. Do you feel like crying at the drop of a hat? Crabby? Hate men?

Actually I think that was spot-on.
