Foo - time to modify my New Year's Resolution

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. My resolutions this year were:

1) quit playing golf
2) stop eating at McDonald's
3) weigh 200 pounds by year's end
4) ride a full brevet series.

Well......

#1 was a success. I sold my golf clubs and all related paraphenalia.
#2 is a failure. I still eat at McDonalds but not as much as before so my new #2 resolution is, "Eat at McDonald's no more than once a week". I think I can handle that.
#3 is going so well that I have changed my target weight to 190 instead of 200.
#4 is a flop. Life keeps getting in the way and I haven't ridden a single brevet. My new goal is to ride a 200k this year and go for a full brevet series (200k, 300k, 400k, 600k) next year.

Overall I'd say you're doing pretty darn good. Especially with #3 if you're going to exceed your goal. The only resolution I've ever been able to keep is the one I made numerous years ago which was to never make anymore resolutions because I never kept them anyway. :D
