Getting back in shape sucks! Haven't been on the bike much for over a year. Been working out at the gym a few times a week but that doesn't help the riding.
I'm going to be in Ireland for a couple weeks this summer and I thought it would be pretty cool to spend a day over there riding. Didn't take me long to realize that my legs wouldn't be able to handle riding over there if I didn't start riding here before I go.
I've got just over 4 months to get into good enough shape that I can spend a day on the bike riding and enjoying the scenery. Wish me luck! Here's hoping I pack my pedals, my riding shoes and a pair of cycling shorts when I go.
If not, I'll just drown my sorrows in Guiness! :thumb:
