Just to lighten up your day in the midst of winter . . .
BRAIN (Bicycle Retailer and Industry News) has a feature story on roller riding . . . featuring tandems.
Great photo on front page showing a tandem duo intensely pedaling on Kreitler rollers as part of Iowa's USA Cycling sanctioned roller race series. Story is continued on page 23 featuring another color photo of a couple in Muscatine, IA riding a Zona custom c/f tandem with a rather unique paintjob: a Holstein (black and white) patterned paint scheme and . . . wearing Holstein patterned jerseys. Cowabunga!!!
These roller race events are done in bike shops and shopping malls creating an interest in cycling/tandems even in midst of winter.
A good way to relieve the boredom on cold/snowy days!
