When a ride is uploaded from the Garmin 705 to Garmin Connect, a message comes up on the 705 saying that it's saving history. Then, next time you have a ride, it records it as a new ride in history. Is there a way to save history and start a new ride without uploading? Can't find it. Apologies if this issue has already been covered. Rob.

I'm not sure if this is what you are asking...but after your ride, press the start/stop button to turn off the timer. Then press and hold the "Lap" button. After a second or two a count down timer will appear. 3-2-1...your ride has been saved to memory and the timer, HR, speed, distance etc. have all been reset.

You can do that after each ride for a week and when you plug in the USB cable to your computer and upload to Training Center or MotionBased, each individual ride will appear separately.
