Looking at a 1975 Schwinn Le Tour mixte on ebay. The information I have found indicates that the mixte version came in a 19" (L69) and 22" (L72) frame size, but the ebay listing shows the size as "M".
Is there a definitive way to identify the frame size?
What is the "horizontal top tube" length for the L72?
Assuming that the frame size is suitable, would this bike be worth rebuilding / upgrading for casual riding?
Any information / advice would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Barry

Picked up this '78 Schwinn Le Tour III for my wife last year:

She enjoys riding it even though it is a bit heavy. It is a very solid, comfortable bike. As it has steel rims (like the one you are looking at) it is best kept for fair weather as steel wheel don't provide good braking when wet. Aside from that, I paid $50 for this one and it needed only tires. The eBay price of $100 + shipping seems high.
