So far, Nashbar's so called tech. support hasn't answered this for me, so I'll try the collected wisdom of BF. I got a good price on Nashbar's carbon road fork with 1" steerer, and have a line for a good price on a headset, but I want to confirm crown race diameter. Does any one know?
Thanks

if you have a 1" steertube get a 1" headset

There are a few different types of 1" headsets. I'm almost positive your Nashbar fork needs a 1" ISO headset. Standard.

If you can measure the fork crown it is most likely 26.4mm. The JIS size is 27mm.

Thanks, I will probably just get a 26.4mm. I have another bike that uses one so it won't hurt to have a spare but it will be a pain to have to turn around and do another order.
Maybe I'll do the 20km drive and buy a set of calipers.

I think JIS headsets are pretty much a thing of the past and all current 1" forks are ISO.

Got that fork on a beater. Basic Cane Creek 1 incher will work.

Verified here as an ISO.
