Folding Bikes - Hungarian folder : o)

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Yep I sold a refurbished one just last weekend. Made by Eska. The name Eska can be found engraved/punched under the bottom bracket shell. They are characterised by a bulbous head tube and folding with the chain to the inside.

Please correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the Eska Czech?
Safe riding! Chop!

Hmmm? Are you lot trying your best to confuse this poor geriatric Welshman?
Does anyone know if they were made by :-
(a) one
(b) other
(c) both
(d) even more companies/Nationalities :P :P
My Eska was named a Revan, but I'd already seen it looked the same as other bikes named Eska. Then when I stripped the frame to paint it, I found the name Eska engraved under the BB shell. I think it is one of those OEM deals - one place churns them out, other places stick their own brand on them and out they go.

The "older" kind :

Looks like they *should* have a bunch of cool parts in standard : Tool " free " quick release, & spare wheel in car type dealio to operate/adjust/lock the quill stem, dynamo powered front & rear lights , fenders, rack, coaster brake , kick stand, etc ...
Not to be confused with, the "newer" ones that are still being made. 2 versions available, a folding one and a non folding one. Non folding you need tools for. :
