Classic & Vintage - Phillips decal

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I'm hoping that someone would be so kind as to send me a photo of the decal on the rear mudguard of a 1960's era Phillips English 3-speed.

the headbadge says birmingham (original phillips locale) the stickers say Nottingham (raleigh land) these bikes were '61s so they had a mis-match

This badge was on the rear fender of a 1959 Phillips 3-speed. That's before Raleigh took over the company:

And here's my version on a Christmas holiday restoration, a 1955 Phillips ladys sports tourer.
The mudguard/fender is shaped to accept the badge.

Bit faded, indistinct perhaps and not overpainted, but the genuine article.

Scroll down a bit on the page to bypass the other mesmerising English lightweights....:thumb:
