Bjorn, 10, at the end of a grueling afternoon of cleaning Campy calipers. It is all about the rewards: Saving up goodwill-points for his first Swiss Army knife, a $30 Victorinox Ranger. Almost there.

I LOVE his cap. I'm about to order one for myself. Cool kid, I'd love to have done that stuff at 10 (at least I would now, back then I was so deep into Dragonball [reg/Z/GT] and Pokémon it was crazy, though I do still enjoy those). Your kid?

that's quite a load of calipers: he'd have earned the SAK if it was my kid, but I'm a pushover...great pic!

It has been ordered. But he doesn't know.

We shared the work. I disassembled, he cleaned and I lubed and put them together again.

My girl rebuilt her first bike at the age of 5. I did the torky parts of the wrenching but she did the rest. She's proud of that bike. Wish I had some pictures from back then.
