First warm day in weeks and I wanted to post a pic of my Son's very first ride on his new geared bike!
It's an 18-speed freeecycle bike rebuilt with some donated parts and some take-offs from the garage parts bin. With the alloy rims and his newly found variable gears, he's really pretty fast! Had his old dad struggling to keep up a couple of times, plus the knobby tires handled the traces of old snow much better than my road tires.
He's a happy camper, and Dad couldn't be more proud!
